Young Tiger Jr NTR starrer Yamadonga, helmed by SS Rajamouli, completed 13 years of its release as it arrived at the theaters on 15th August 2007. The film in its full run collected a distributor share of over 29 Crores and emerged as a blockbuster at the box office.
Yamadonga is a fantasy action comedy film, produced by Urmila Gangaraju and P. Chiranjeevi, which also has Mamta Mohandas, Priyamani and Mohan Babu, in the lead roles and Khushbu, Ramba and Brahmanandam in prominent roles. The film was a blockbuster at the box office. It was also later dubbed into Hindi as Lok Parlok which was released in 2008.
Baahubali music composer MM Keeravani had composed the music, and the cinematography was handled by KK Senthilkumar. The story was penned by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the father of SS Rajamouli. The movie revolved around the Yama-Logam and Earth, and how the protagonist proves to be more than a handful for Yama himself. This was the third collaboration of Jr. NTR and S. S. Rajamouli after Student No. 1 and Simhadri.
Now once again Rajamouli and Jr NTR are working together for the much awaited movie RRR, which is being produced by DVV Danayya. The movie RRR will hit the theaters next year.
