Covid-19 +ive cases are increasing in the country, as many as 1990 cases were newly reported and 49 new deaths in India in the last 24 hours. This is seen as a big spike. Thus the total count of Coronavirus +ive cases stood at 26,496 and the total deaths reported are at 824.
Total number of Covid-19 cases in India crossed the 26000 mark on Sunday with nearly 2000 fresh Coronavirus cases reported from across the country in a span of 24 hours.
UP reported two more coronavirus deaths on Sunday, taking their number to 29 as 50 new coronavirus cases in the state.
Majority of the coronavirus cases were reported in Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh. In Maharashtra, 7628 +ive cases were reported of which 323 deaths were reported. After Maharashtra, Gujarat is the next highest with total number of covid-19 cases is at 3071 of which 133 have died.
Andhra Pradesh reported 81 new +ive cases reported in the last 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 +ive cases in Andhra Pradesh state rises to 1097, that includes 31 deaths and 231 discharged. In Telangana state , the positive covid-19 cases reached 991, 26 people died and 280 people recovered.
In Delhi, the total positive cases are 2625 and 54 have died.
