2.0 Collections: 2.0 starring Rajinkanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Production, which was released yesterday on 29th November and receive positive response by the movie lovers and critics from everywhere, has taken an average opening at the box office of both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to the traders report, 2.0 has collected Rs 12.51 Cr shares from both Telugu States on its opening day.
The area-wise break up of 2.0 are as follows:
Nizam: Rs 4.73 Cr
Ceeded : Rs 1.96 Cr
UA : Rs 1.65 Cr
East : Rs 96 Lakhs
West : Rs 75 Lakhs
Guntur : Rs 1.02 Cr
Krishna : Rs 70 Lakhs
Nellore : Rs 74 Lakhs

The Hindi version of 2.0 alone earned Rs 22-23 cr on day one. The most other territories are still to report numbers. The record for the highest opening day for an Indian movie is held by SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion starring Young Rebel star Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia and Ramya Krishna, that made Rs 121 Cr in 2017.
According to the traders report. the Hindi version of Rajinkanth starrer 2.0 that released in about 4,150 screens registered about 40 percent occupancy on its opening day and notched up the 8th highest opening of the year.
Produced by Lyca Production on a massive budget of Rs 550 Cr, 2.0 is the first Indian movie entirely shot on 3D and has been released on over 10,000 screens. But it was not able to release on IMAX theaters as post production work took too long to complete.
