2.0 Collections: 2.0 the sci-fi movie starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, which was released yesterday on 29th November 2018 in a very grand manner and received positive response from everywhere, has created a history a box office. According to the latest update, 2.0 has collected Rs 250 Cr at the Worldwide box office on its opening day and turned out biggest opener in Kollywood. This news is confirmed by Umair Sandhu.

In the manner, Rajinikanth has broken his record of Kabali which had collected Rs 90 Cr on its opening day. And 2.0 has also crushed the record of Vijay and Keerthy Suresh starrer Sarkar which has earned Rs 70 Cr on its first day.
2.0 registered the occupancy of around 95% in the early-morning shows, but the Hindi version of the film, that has majority of takers in the North Indian belt, met with a mediocre response. In North, 2.0 witnessed an average occupancy rate of 40% and grabbed the 8th spot on the list of 2018’s Hindi films that registered highest occupancy during morning shows.
It is known news that the trailer of 2.0 has broken records on YouTube as it garnered a combined 25 million views on digital platforms within 24 hours of its release. And now after the release, 2.0 has started to break the records at the box office. Akshay Kumar’s presence in 2.0 is pulling the people to theaters in the Hindi belt. 2.0 is India’s most expensive film to date and the second-costliest film in Asia. Made by Lyca Production on the lavish budget of Rs 550 Cr. 2.0 is also India’s first film which is shot directly with 3D cameras.
