The young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda has delivered four hit and four flop movies in his career. He made his debut as lead actor with small budget movie Pelli Choopulu which was hit and later he delivered blockbuster movies in the form of Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindam and Taxiwaala. Vijay Devarakonda’ starrer Dwarka, Ye Mantram Vesave, NOTA and Dear Comrade were fail to impress the audience. This year 2019, Vijay Deverakonda came up with multilingual drama Dear Comrade, which was released in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Though the performance of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna was highlighted in the movie but it became fail to impress the movie lovers. It seems 2019 is unlucky year of Vijay Deverakonda.
This year Vijay Deverakonda decided to turned into producer and came up with his production venture turned ‘Meeku Maathram Cheptha’. The movie which has Pellichoopulu fame director Tharun Bhascker in the lead role, was released on 1st November but received mixed response by the movie lovers on its opening day. Though Vijay Deverakonda promoted the movie in his style and also made his screen presence in promotional song but became fail to entertainer the movie lovers. The film took low openings on its first weekend.
According to the latest buzz, film Meeku Maathram Cheptha’ was supposed to Vijay Deverakonda’ movie as Tamil director Shammer Sultan narrated the story to him but Arjun Reddy star rejected the idea but later he called up the director that he will produce this film in case if he allows Tharun Bhasckar to play the lead role in this film.
Vijay Deverakonda has also postponed his other movie ‘World Famous Lover’ to the next year after seeing the result of his previous offering ‘Dear Comrade’.
Currently Vijay Deverakonda is busy in his next film Hero. In the month of January, he will start the shoot of his next project Fighter, which will be directed by Puri Jagannadh.
