With these fresh cases, the total number of Coronavirus cases reached 226 in Andhra Pradesh. Nellore district has reported 34. 23 +ive cases were recorded from Kurnool district. The number of cases in the Kurnool district, which had recorded 4 cases till Saturday, suddenly witnessed a surge in the past 12 hours and the reached 27.
Most of the Coronavirus cases have been linked to persons who attended the religious congregation held at New Delhi‘ Markaz Nizamuddin in the month of March organized by Tablighi Jamaat, a section of Sunni Islam. The 1st death in Andhra Pradesh was reported on 3rd April. The deceased’s samples had tested +ive for Coronavirus after his death.
