3 Part Ramayana with Rs 500 Cr Budget by Allu Aravind

3 part screen adaptation of the Ramayana will be shot in 3D and will be released in three languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The budget of this epic Ramayana is whopping Rs 500 crore. The Casting details haven’t been finalized yet. According to the latest update, Mega Producer Allu Aravind, ex-Phantom Films founder Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra, founder of Prime Focus studios, are going to jointly produce Ramayana.

Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar of Sridevi starrer ‘Mom’ fame are on the board to direct Ramayana.

Nitesh Tiwari spoke about Ramayana and said, “I went with my father and brother to the Ramlila every year and though we all are aware of the story.” Nitesh Tiwari said, “I heard Ramayana stories from my grandmother and mother. Everybody knows the story of Ram, Sita and Raavan, it’s the story-telling that will make the trilogy memorable.”

Script works for Allu Aravind’ Ramayana was kick-started nearly an year back and it will be made in three parts just like the Lord of The Rings series. . Expectations are already soaring high for this upcoming Allu Aravind’ big budget drama Ramayana after the record- breaking success of the SS Rajamouli’ Baahubali franchise. The first part of the epic Ramayana will release in 2021.
