Stylish star Allu Arjun, Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa starrer action drama Sarrainodu completed 5 years today. The movie Sarrainodu which was directed by Boyapati Srinu, was released on 22nd April 2016 and turned out a blockbuster at the box office. Allu Arjun starrer was produced by Allu Aravind under the banner Geetha Arts and after the release it broke many records at the box office. The film also marked the first time association between the lead pair- Allu Arjun and Rakul Preet Singh.
Allu Arjun’ performance and actions sequences were the major highlights of the film. Allu arjun played the role of ex-military man, who beats up corrupt individuals, comes to the rescue of a village belle with whom he will be tying the knot. Sarrainodu marked the first time collaboration of Stylish Star and Boyapati who is known for making mass drama.
Sarrainodu also had Aadi Pinisetty, Brahmanandam, Pradeep Rawat, Sai Kumar, Jayaprakash, Suman and Adarsh Balakrishna in the supporting roles. Allu Arjun starrer sarrainodu was 2nd highest grossing Telugu film of 2016.
Currently Allu Arjun is working with Sukumar of Rangasthalam fame for action drama Pushpa and Boyapati Srinu is working for Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer actioner Akhanda.
