If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Abhiram Daggubati, the loving son of Suresh Babu and younger brother of Rana Daggubati, is going to play the crucial role in an upcoming Telugu movie, which is remake of Tamil blockbuster drama Asuran remake, in which Venkatesh will play the lead role. Abhiram Daggubati will essay the role of Venkatesh’s son in Asuran remake, which will be directed by Srikanth Addala.
If everything will go accordingly, the producer Suresh Babu’s younger son Abhiram Daggubati will make his acting debut with Venkatesh starrer Asuran remake. Apparently the talk coming from Ramanaidu Studios is that Suresh Babu has asked the producer to rope in Abhiram Daggubati to play the role of Venkatesh’ younger son in Asuran remake.
Abhiram Daggubati is more known for the controversies around him. In 2015, two US nationals filed an FIR against Abhiram Daggubati as they accidentally hit his car with their bike. For this, he assaulted the two and fell into a fight. Later he also filed a police complaint against the two and said that they damaged his car with their bike. Later Abhiram Daggubati was also in the news headlines for assaulting his neighbors. In April 2018, the controversial actress Sri Reddy accused him of s*xual exploitation for a role in his next film.
The pre-production work of the Asuran remake has been started. Suresh Babu and Asuran’s producer Kalaipuli S Thanu will be jointly producing this film. Dhanush starrer Asuran, based on popular Tamil novel Vekkai, turned out to be a blockbuster in Kollywood with over Rs 100 crore in gross earnings.
Kollywood star Dhanush and Manju Warrier starrer Asuran is a rustic period village drama and the makers of the Telugu version are making enough changes to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audiences. Apparently, Venkatesh himself is taking special care and is suggesting some key changes to the script of Asuran.
