After abrogating Article 370 and 35(A) yesterday, there seems to be a heavy air of inconsistency in the many areas of Jammu and Kashmir and few other sensitive places of the country. Churning update is that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation today about the revoking of said articles in J & K.
This was surely a historic move by the BJP government on scrapping the retro bills and introducing the new bill in Rajya Sabha. Though the BJP has faced severe backlash in the next moment when Amit Shah introduced the bill, it has equally got a positive response from many categories of people and political critics.
The house has further passed the bill to support the Jammu and Kashmir people with 10% reservation for all the economically backward people. In the parliament, Amit Shah expressed his mind as Article 370 locks out the people from outside the state for having the business there.
Shah concluded by saying, “We want to embrace the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and give them flourishing opportunities for employment. Even a separate bill for reservation for economically backward classes would not be required if the resolution is passed in both houses as the provision will get automatically applied to Jammu and Kashmir, as in rest of India”.
It has to wait and see as how PM Modi will address the nation about the revoking of Article 370 and 35 (A) in J & K in his own style.
