Acharya movie collections: Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer social drama Acharya, which was released amid very high expectations, has turned out to be a disaster at the ticket windows, as per trade sources. The Koratala Siva directorial, brought Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan together on screen for the first time. The movie has Pooja Hegde in the female lead and she is playing Ram Charan’ love interest. Now according to the traders report, Acharya has crossed A$200K in Australia and the 1st week gross is A$200,903.

Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer Acharya was nothing but a disappointment on both critical and commercial fronts. It opened to bad reviews from the critics and it also generated poor word of mouth from the movie lovers. The collections of Acharya are also not up to the mark.
Korala Siva’ magnum opus is about a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and donations.
On the otherside, Chiranjeevi will be next seen in an upcoming film Godfather, a Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, which stars Salman Khan in a cameo.
