There is a jinx in Telugu film industry that after working in a SS Rajamouli film the actor’ next film becomes a flop. Acharya has proved it again. Acharya, the social drama starring father son duo, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, was released in theatres on 29th April 2022. Ram Charan was last seen playing the lead role in SS Rajamouli’ blockbuster drama RRR which also had Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and others. Now, the jinx continues as Ram Charan scored a flop with Acharya. Just a month ago, he scored a huge success with RRR.
The fans of Ram Charan were hopeful about the success of Acharya despite this jinx but the movie received negative response by the movie lovers and the critics on its release day. The movie disappointed the viewers. Though Acharya had Chiranjeevi in the lead role, Ram Charan was seen in important role but it was not just cameo.
