Last year Bengali actress Payal Ghosh was in the news headlines for making comments on Young Tiger Jr NTR, mental health and nepotism in the film industry. Now according to the latest report, Payal Ghosh was recently attacked by a few masked men when she was coming back to her home after purchasing medicines in Mumbai and they also snatched her belongings.
The actress revealed that when she was getting into her car, some men attacked her with a rod. There was also a bottle in their hand, which the actress speculated to be acid. While she escaped the attackers, but she suffered a minor injury in her left hand. The video is now going viral on the internet and is creating lot of buzz.
Payal Ghosh shared a video on her Instagram where she is seen saying, “Yesterday I went out to buy some medicine, and while coming when I was trying to sit in my driver’s seat, some people came and tried to attack me. There was a bottle in their hand. I don’t know what it was. I suspect maybe acid or something. They also tried to hit me with a rod. I tried to rescue and shouted, so the rod fell on my left hand and I got injured. Today I will go to the police station to do the FIR.”
The actress also shared her photograph on her Instagram stories, in which she showed her injured hand to her fans.
