Acid attack on South beauty?South beauty Jaya Prada has opened up on her morphed pictures that shocked fans years back.  Jaya Prada has also alleged that a popular politician Abu Azmi had harassed her in the parliament and no one called him out then. Recently Andhra Pradesh born actress  talked about people speaking ill against her relationship with Amar Singh. The former MP from Uttar Pradesh Jaya Prada also hit out at senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, she alleged that he attempted an acid attack on her.

Last year, in the month of March, in Moradabad during a public meeting Azam Khan said, “Padmaavat was made. Heard Khilji’s character is very bad. Padmaavati left this world before Khilji’s arrival. But now, a woman, a naachne waali (dancer), has made some remark about me. Tell me, if I entertain this ‘naachne gaane wali’ and join the issue with this kind of women, how will I concentrate on politics?”

Azam Khan’s remark came after Jaya Prada said,” When I was watching Padmaavat, Khilji’s character reminded me of Azam Khan ji, how he had harassed me during elections when I was contesting”

 Jaya Prada said, “Because the state I was in, contesting elections with Azam Khan, as a woman, with acid attack threats, threat to my life. I couldn’t even tell to my mom if I would come back alive whenever I left from home.”

Azam Khan was the leader who brought Jaya Prada to Rampur and helped her win her lok Sabha seat from Samajwadi Party ticket. With Azam Khan’s help, Jaya Prada had won Rampur seat by over 85,000 votes that year.

In 2010, Amar Singh and Jaya Prada were expelled from Samajwadi Party.

 The 56 years old actress Jay Prada added that she was at the brim of committing suicide when her morphed pictures went viral on the social media. She said that only Amar Singh came forward and supported her.  She questioned, What will you think of him? Godfather or someone else? Even if I tie rakhi to him, will the people stop talking?” She added, “I don’t care what people say.”

Jaya Prada referred to Amar Singh as her godfather. She said while interacting with author Ram Kamal at the Queensline Literature Festival .
