Prabhas starrer upcoming film Adipurush has become the talk of town and now everyone is eager to know about the female lead of this film, which will be helmed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame. Prabhas will play Lord Ram whereas Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the role of Lankesh. The reports are coming that the makers of Adipurush are in search of a Bollywood actress to play the role of Sita.
In Ashwin Nag’ film Prabhas is paired with Padmavaat fame Deepika Padukone. The hunt for an A lister Bollywood actress opposite Prabhas in Om Raut’s Adipurush is now on. Sources close to the makers revealed that Deepika Padukone was the first choice to play Sita opposite Prabhas’ Rama in Adipurush. But she is already doing Ashwin Nag’s film with Prabhas, so the makers of Adipurush can’t be paired in two back-to-back films.
According to the makers, Deepika Padukone was the perfect choice. No other A-lister seems to fit into Sita’ role. The reports are coming that the makers of Adipurush are considering the names of Rakul Preet Singh, Kiara Advani and Pooja Hegde who have worked in Telugu cinema.
Currently Prabhas is working with DJ fame Pooja Hegde in Radhe Shyam, which is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
