Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon is playing the character of Sita in 3 D action drama ‘Adipurush’ in which Prabhas is playing the lead role and will be seen in the role of Lord Rama under the direction of Om Raut of Tanhaji fame. Kriti Sanon is very excited about this project as she got the rare opportunity to play the role of Goddess Sita. The sources close to the team of Adipurush revealed that the makers are going to present Sita as a daring girl not a helpless. Kriti Sanon will not be seen crying helplessly when Ravan abducts her in Lanka.
Saif Ali Khan is playing Lankesh- Ravan, the main antagonist whereas Sunny Singh in the role of Laxman, in Adipurush, which will hit the screens on 11th August 2022.
Om Raut’ directorial venture Adipurush went on floors in January this year but the shoot stopped after a massive fire broke out on the sets. The upcoming big budget film will have VFX technicians of international repute, who have worked on films like Avatar and Star Wars.
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush is a period drama set 7,000 years ago. Earlier during an interview, the actress had expressed confidence in Adipurush director Om, by saying she is in safe hands.
