Nag Ashwin who is known for helming Mahanati, the biopic of South Indian legendary actress Savitri, is now all set to work with Young Rebel Star Prabhas for an upcoming science fiction drama. Currently Nag Ashwin’ directorial venture is in the post production stage. This is the first time, Prabhas is working with Deepika Padukone for a film which has Big B aka Megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the crucial role.
Recently during the media interaction, Nag Ashwin talked about his film and Adipurush, and said, “Adipurush is a pan Indian film. As the movie is based on Ramayana, and Prabhas is playing Lord Rama, it will have a huge reach. His market is going to increase even more. All these factors will be a big plus for my directorial venture, when we are ready for release.”
Nag Ashwin’ directorial venture has cinematography by Dani Sanchi Lopez and music is composed by Mickey J Meyer on board.
According to the latest buzz, the mythological drama Adipurush will have a total production cost of Rs 400 Cr, thus officially making it the costliest project headlined by Prabhas. Adipurush’ helmer Om Raut has decided to spend a large chunk of the money on VFX.
