Ramcharan got another big blockbuster in his career by doing the movie ‘RRRR’ directed by Rajamouli. Soon after that he made the movie ‘Acharya’ with his father Chiranjeevi. Koratala Siva is the director who has not been a flop till then. However, the movie turned out to be a disaster. Actually Charan’s role in this movie is 15 minutes. But the role was made for 45 minutes by naming the fans.
Chiru would have thought that this kind of multi-starrer would have appeal. Even so, the film did not even register minimum openings from the first day itself. Ram Charan’s own banner as well as Matney Entertainments banners have jointly produced this film. In the full run, this movie could not even register a share of Rs.50 crores. Meanwhile, recently Charan attended the HT Leadership Summit.
Akshay Kumar also participated in it. In this order, Charan responded to the result of ‘Acharya’. “After a super hit movie like ‘RRR’, I made a guest appearance in a movie. However, the audience did not come to the theaters to watch the film. Audiences need to show interest to come to the theater which means strong content and more importantly content that appeals to them.
Content is key. The audience’s taste has changed a lot now,” said Ramcharan. Charan is currently acting in a film directed by Shankar under the production of Dil Raju. The shooting of this film is 60 percent complete. Kiara Advani will act as the heroine in this movie. Anjali is also acting as another heroine.
