Oka Laila Kosam, Mukunda and DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham fame Pooja Hegde has been roped in the 25th movie of Superstar Mahesh Babu, to play the female lead role. The sources close to the actress revealed that recently Vamshi Paidipally met the actress and discussed about the possibility of the project. Pooja, who is very impressed with the narration by Oopiri director Vamsi, agreed to become the part of this upcoming project.
Interestingly, Vamshi wanted Pooja Hegde to see one of his films before starting the shoot of his new film. He has also given the DVD of Oopiri to Pooja. The upcoming drama will be jointly produced by Ashwini Dutt & DIl Raju. Sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad is on the board to render the tune. The shoot of the film is expected to start from the month of March.
On the other-side, currently Pooja is romancing with young actor Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas in the upcoming action entertainer Saakshyam, being helmed by Sriwass. She will also be seen shaking leg in special song in village based drama ‘Rangasthalam 1985’ starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni.
