Tamil star hero Karthi is a well known face in Tollywood. He has decent hits to his name here and the latest addition in this list is Khaidi. This intense action thriller has been well received by audience. Though Khaidi opened slowly, exceptional critic ratings and word of mouth helped the film immensely. Khaidi has entered third week but has showed no signs of slowing down. The film has already garnered 13 crores in Tollywood alone, turned out to be Karthi’s highest earner here. The film is still strong, as November is not for biggie releases, one can expect Khaidi to mint more crores. Khaidi might collect 17 crores share in Tollywood. Khaidi has been sold to just 4.5 crores as Karthi’s market here went considerably down after string of flops. Noted producer bought Khaidi and it turned out to be masterstroke for him.

Released along with Bigil many expected Vijay starrer will easily fadeout Khaidi but Karthi stamina in Telugu is so strong. It overtook Whistle (Bigil Telugu version) collections in no time. For Khaidi success in Telugu, title also played important part. Khaidi is a classical film of Chiranjeevi which changed dynamics of Tollywood.
