We have already reported that Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan is teaming up with Hanu Raghvapudi for an upcoming project, which will be bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. To be made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages, the film has Pooja Hegde in the female lead role. Now, according to the latest buzz in the film industry, after Pooja Hegde, now the makers are planning to rope a popular young actress Raashi Khanna to play the other female lead in Dulquer Salmaan starrer.
Dulquer Salmaan will be seen as lieutenant Ram in the Indian Army, who is stationed at Jammu and Kashmir, in this film. Set against the backdrop of 1960s, the upcoming directorial venture of Hanu Raghvapudi is touted to a love story set during wartime. The regular shoot of this film of Dulquer Salmaan will be commenced from the month of January.
The pre-production formalities of Dulquer Salmaan and Hanu Raghvapudi’ film have already been wrapped up. If everything goes accordingly, very soon the official announcement regarding the inclusion of Raashi Khanna in Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde starrer will be made.
In the year 2018, Dulquer Salmaan made his debut in Tollywood by playing the role of Gemini Ganesan in ‘Mahanati’, the biopic of yesteryear actress Savitri under the direction of Nag Ashwin.
