The Hindi remake of director Sudha Kongara’ directorial venture – the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru has Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Actor Suriya, who was the lead in the original, has already revealed that he will be producing the film under the banner of 2D Entertainment, making this his first Bollywood production. Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan are reprising the role of Suriya and Aparna Balamurali in the Hindi remake. According to the latest update, Suriya will play a cameo in Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru . Today morning the industry tracker Ramesh Bala confirmed the same by sharing a post on twitter, as he wrote: Actor Suriya to do a cameo in Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake.
Niketh Bommi is the cinematographer of this film, while it has music by GV Prakash. Soorarai Pottru is based on the life story of Air Deccan founder AR Gopinath. The movie skipped the theatrical release on release directly on a popular OTT platform, and received massive responses.
The sources say that recently Suriya met Akshay Kumar during the shooting to wish the actor for the remake, and he is also appearing for a glimpse in the remake. So, it’s going to be another special appearance for Suriya after his recent hit in Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil starrer Vikram.
