After Runway 34, once again Ajay Devgn is all set to don the director’s hat. On Monday, Ajay Devgn announced his next Bholaa that will also feature him and Tabu. As per the announcement, the upcoming film, which is said to be a “high-octane, strongly-emotional drama, ” is in production and will wrap up the shoot by 20th August. And the makers are planning to release the movie in the month of March.
Bholaa is the remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaithi, in which Karthi played the lead. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the 2019 action thriller was about a prisoner who helps the police when they are attacked by a gang of smugglers. The police then help him reunite with his daughter.
Touted to be an emotional drama, this film Bholaa will be made on a tight budget and Ajay himself will be bankrolling this film under his home banner.
The sources say that Ajay Devgn has been shooting for Bholaa at regular intervals at multiple locations since the month of January. He commenced an important schedule of this upcoming film in Hyderabad last month without much noise around the same. He is all set to wrap up the shoot of Bholaa by 20th August.
