Ajay Devgn sets eye on Mahesh Babu film remake?

Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and Samantha Akkineni starrer Dookudu,  directed by Srinu Vaitla, was one of the blockbuster movies of Telugu film Industry. Now the film is going to Bollywood. According to the latest update, Eros International has bought the remake rights of the film and a top star is going to play the lead role. The reports are coming that either Salman Khan or Ajay Devgn will play the lead role in the Hindi remake of Dookudu.

Few are saying that Salman Khan was the first choice to play the lead in the Dookudu remake, but he backed out from the project due to the reasons best known to him and Ajay  Devgn hasn’t taken much time to grab the opportunity. Most probably, Ajay Devgn will add one more film to the list of Rs 100 crore club. Salman Khan’ loss is Ajay Devgn’ gain!

Bollywood has picked the trend of remakes of South films.  Ajay Devgn had previously acted in the remakes of Singham (‘Yamudu’ in Telugu) and ‘Maryada Ramanna’, which has been made as ‘Son of Sardar’ in Hindi. Currently Ajay Devgn is working with SS Rajamouli for upcoming much hyped movie RRR, which will hit the theaters next year.
