Ajay Devgn has teamed up with noted producer Dil Raju for an upcoming Hindi film which is a remake of Telugu movie Naandhi in which Allari Naresh played the lead role and the movie was a hit in Tollywood. The Naandhi remake will be bankrolled by Ajay Devgn, Kuldeep Rathore V Venkata Ramanareddy (Dil Raju Productions), and Parag Desai (Mumbai Talkeez). This news is confirmed by Ajay Devgn himself as today morning he took to his Twitter and shared a post, “Time to share an important story with all! Dil Raju and ADF Films are all set to produce the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit, Naandhi!”
The court room drama Naandhi follows the life of Surya Prakash ( played by Allari Naresh), an under-trial prisoner who is falsely accused of murder, awaiting judgment.
Naandhi was released on 19th February 2021 and it received positive reviews from everywhere. Apart from Allari Naresh, the movie also has South diva Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Varma, Priyadarshi, Harish Uthaman, and Praveen in the supporting roles.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is currently working with SS Rajamouli for a film RRR, which has Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Helmed by SS Rajamouli and bankrolled by DVV Danayya, RRR is slated to hit the theaters on 13th October.
