Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal starrer action drama Akhanda is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The movie started to premier from 21st January and now according to the latest update, Akhanda has become all time highest viewed film on OTT in 24 hours. The team confirmed the same by sharing a new poster on Twitter.
Akhanda will have its world television premiere on 27th February on Star Maa. It is helmed by Boyapati Srinu and backed by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwaraka Creations. The film marks the third collaboration of the leading man with the helmer after Simha (2010) and Legend (2014).
Apart from the lead actors, Akhanda also has Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Nithin Mehta, Poorna, Subbaraju, Avinash, Sravan, Prabhakar, Deshna Javaji and Viji Chandrasekhar in the supporting roles.
In this actioner, Paisa Vasool and Lion fame Balakrishna essayed dual role and won the hearts of the movie lovers with his performance and way of dialogue delivery. Balayya’ performance especially as Aghora was well-received by the movie lovers, however, the storyline was a big led down. Despite getting mixed reviews online, the film Akhanda eared gross over Rs 100 crore at the box office and it is still running at the theaters.
