Akhanda collections: Written and helmed by Boyapati Srinu, produced by Dwaraka Creations, the film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a dual role alongside Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu and Srikanth. The movie which was released on 2nd December, is winning the hearts of the movie lovers.
Though the movie opened to mixed reviews with praise for Balakrishna’s performance as Aghora but criticism for the storyline. The action drama has turned out money spinner at the box office. Akhanda features Nandamuri Balakrishna in a never before avatar, has not been stopping at the box office. According to the makers, Akhandahas collected $950K in the USA, till today and is inching closer to the $1 million milestone very soon.
Notably Akhanda marks director Boyapati Srinu’s third collaboration with Balakrishna after Simha (2010) and Legend (2014). It is produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under Dwaraka Creations whereas the music is composed by Thaman.
Akhanda features Nithin Mehta, Poorna, Avinash, Subbaraju, Sravan, Prabhakar and Viji Chandrasekhar in the supporting roles. Backed by Miryala Ravinder Reddy, the thriller’s technical crew members include music composer S Thaman, cinematographer C Ram Prasad, and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film’s success meet took place recently in Vizag. The movie is distributed by Pen Studios.
