After delivering two blockbuster movies Simha and Legend, Akhanda was the third collaboration between Balakrishna and director Boyapati, which was released on 2nd December last year, has completed a 175 day theatrical run.
Akhanda has completed 175 days direct Run in Ramakrishna Theatre, Chilakaluripeta. Based on his schedule, Balayya is planning to visit Ramakrishna theatre today. The reports are coming that the theatre owners want to celebrate this occasion and Nandamuri Balakrishna is expected to attend the celebration event.
In India, nowadays, the films don’t run for 100 days, 150 days, and 200 days, like earlier. But Balakrishna starrer completed 175 days run. It is known that in past, Balayya’s films like Narasimha Naidu ran for 200 days in more than 50+ theatres and created a record. The fans of Balakrishna, are delighted to watch their favourite actor accomplish such a feat.
In the film, Balakrishna plays the role of Aghora. His performance was appreciated by critics and the movie lovers alike. Many thought that this role could have not been performed by any other actor. Boyapati Srinu’ magnum opus had done an amazing pre-release business of Rs 54 crore. And finally the movie turned out a blockbuster at the box office.
Currently Balakrishna is working with Gopichand Malineni for a film NBK107.
