Directed by Boyapati Srinu, Akhanda is touted to be a mythological period drama in which Nandamuri Balakrishna will essay the role of an aghori. Dwaraka Creations, the production house bankrolling this mythological period drama, which has Pragya Jaiswal as the leading lady.
The makers of Akhanda have already confirmed that the shoot of Balakrishna starrer have been wrapped up. Now the reports are coming that they are planning to release Akhanda on 13th October 2021 in theaters. This date was initially blocked by SS Rajamouli for his directorial venture RRR.
The sources say that the makers are eyeing Dasara for the film’s release. The official announcement regarding the release date of Akhanda will be made soon. Balakrishna is playing the dual role and in one of the roles, he is essaying an aghora. Srikanth Meka is playing the antagonist. Popular composer S Thaman is on board to render the tune while C Ram Prasad is taking care of the cinematography department for the venture.
Balakrishan and Boyapati Srinu’ film Akhanda has dialogues by M Ratnam. Balakrishna will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu had previously scored blockbusters with the two movies named Simha and Legend so the same magic is expected to be repeated a third time around.
