Srikanth has reunited with director Boyapati Srinu for the upcoming action drama Akhanda which has Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead roles. The sources about Srikanth’ role said, “This is a character that Srikanth has never done in his career. He has plenty of combination scenes with Balakrishna.” Recently during the media interaction, Srikanth also talked about his character in Boyapati Srinu’ directorial venture Akhanda and said, “After watching my character on the screen, the audience will curse and abuse me.”
Akhanda villain Srikanth said, “ The director Boyapati Srinu got the sketches of many getups of my character before finalizing this one. My getup and behavior will be completely different in this action Akhanda and it cannot be guessed. My role is extremely evil faced.”
Srikanth concluded it by saying that after playing this role, he was satisfied as it is a completely different role.
Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu had previously scored blockbusters with the action movies Simha and Legend so the magic is expected to be repeated a third time around with Akhanda. The action drama Akhanad was supposed to hit screens in the month of May but it was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
