It is known news that Akhil Akkineni has teamed up with Awe and Kalki fame director Prasanth Varma for his 5th project. Sources say that the film will be a complete romantic entertainer. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers are planning to rope Malayali kutti Nivetha Thomas to play the female lead in Akhil’ 5th project.
Prasanth Varma’ previous offering Kalki managed to get a lukewarm response at the box office. He has discussed a story with Nagarjuna’ son Akhil Akkineni and has got his approval. The movie will kick start after the groundwork is completed. Niranjan Reddy will be bankrolling the project of Akhil and Nivetha Thomas starrer under his banner Matinee Entertainments.
A source said, “While the director Prasanth Varma was supposed to helm a woman centric film for Kajal Aggarwal, there is a possibility that he might do both Akhil Akkineni and Kajal Aggarwal’ films simultaneously.”
Akhil Akkineni will do Prasanth Varma’ film after he wraps up Bommarillu Bhaskar’s film.
Currently he is busy in the shoot of ongoing project which is helmed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. It is heard that Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in this film, which is being bankrolled by top production house Geetha Arts.
