Akhil actress supports #Metoo

Sayyeshaa Saigal who made her Telugu debut with Akhil:The Power of Jua and played the love interest of Akkineni Akhil, has also come in the support of #Metoo movement, which has created lot of buzz in entire film Industry.  Sayyeshaa Saigal took to her Twitter and wrote, “So much is coming to the forefront! It takes immense courage to speak about painful experiences that people have lived with for years. I stand with every woman who has spoken courageously. At the same time my respect to all the men with great integrity supporting #Metoo”

Number of top celebrities – Samantha, Varalaxmi, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet, and others, have come forward in support of the movement.  Recently Samatha Akkineni was also trolled for extending her support to Singer and dubbing artist Chinmayi Sripada.

After working in a Telugu film Akhil: The Power of Jua, in 2015, Sayyeshaa Saigal made her Bollywood debut in Ajay Devgn starrer Shivaay in 2016 and later she entered in Tamil film Industry. She mage her Tamil debut in the film Vanamagan in 2017, which was turned out flop at the box office.

Sayyeshaa Saigal is the daughter of actors Sumeet Saigal and Shaheen Banu. She is the grandniece of Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar. On the work side, currently she is busy in her upcoming movie Suriya 37.

The #MeeToo movement has taken the entire film Industry by storm ever since Tanushree Dutta claimed that Nana Patekar had harassed her on the sets of ‘Hork Ok Please’ in 2008. Tanushree Dutta’s allegations stirred the MeeToo movement and since then, names of various celebrities have sprung up.  However, Nana Patekar has denied the allegations saying ‘Jo Jhooth Hai Vo Jhooth Hai’. Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Subhash Ghai, Rajat Kapoor, Kailash Kher, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Sajid Khan and others have also been accused of s*xual harassment.
