After delivering the super hit movie Most Eligible Bachelor, Akhil Akkineni joined hands with Surender Reddy for a spy thriller drama agent, which will be released on 12th August, 2022 in theaters worldwide in a very grand manner. Sakshi Vaidya and Malayalam actor Mammootty also play key parts of this film. The sources say that the director and actor – Surender Reddy and Akhil have decided to refrain from accepting remuneration from the producers upfront.
Both Surender Reddy and Akhil have decided not to take remuneration for the film Agent. Instead of taking the remuneration, they are said to take their compensation from the movie’ profit post theatrical release.
In this spy drama Agent, Akhil is essaying a spy whereas Malayalam star Mammootty is playing a villain. The screenplay is provided by Vakkantham Vamsi and it is jointly funded by AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema. Naveen Nooli is taking care of the editing department and Hiphop Tamizha is the music director, whereas Ragul Herian Dharuman is handling the cinematography department. Ajay Sunkara, Pathi Deepa Reddy are the co-producers of Akhil starrer film.
Few days ago, the makers of Agent released the teaser and going by the visuals, it looked like Akhil Akkineni had finally bid adieu to his boyish looks and had transformed into a ripped killing machine in this big budget spy action thriller which would see him play a patriot with no rules.
