Akhil Akkineni starrer recently released romantic and comedy film Most Eligible Bachelor which has Pooja Hegde in the female lead role is going superb collections at the box office. It is known that currently Akhil is working for an upcoming film Agent which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Surender Reddy. According to the latest report, Malayalam superstar Mammootty has been roped in Akhil starr Agent and he will be playing a pivotal role in the film.
The sources say that Mammootty is expected to start the shoot of his part from the next few weeks. Touted to be a high budget stylish spy thriller, Agent will feature debutant Sakshi Vaidya opposite Akhil Akkineni.
The makers have already released the first look poster of Agent in which Akhil was seen flaunting his muscular physique with an eight-pack. The sources revealed that Akhil would be seen in a never before avatar in this movie.
The story of Agent is written by Vakkantham Vamsi and is being bankrolled by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema. In past the director-writer duo has worked together for a few blockbusters such as Kick, Race Gurram and others, and this time once again they are planning to deliver a hit movie.
