If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry in to be believed, Nagarjuna Akkineni is going to play the lead role in Telugu remake of Kannada movie ‘Kaddipudi’ starring Shiva Rajkumar and Radhika Pandit. The movie was released on 7th June 2013. Directed by Duniya Soori and produced by M Chandru on a budget of Rs 6.5 Cr, Kaddipudi was turned out one of the biggest hit in the actor’s career.
It is heard that sensational film maker Ram Gopal Varma is keen on bankrolling this venture under his banner. The talks are on but nothing is yet finalized. Reports say that more details about this remake will emerge only after the release of RGV and Nagarjuna’s Officer.
Currently Officer is in post production stage. Myra Sareen is playing the female lead in the film, which is being bankrolled by Sudeer Chandra and Ram Gopal Varma under the banner of R Company. Nag is playing a police officer in the film, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 25th May.
