Akshay Kumar made his South debut with Shankar’ directorial venture 2.0, in which he worked with Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth and currently the actor is active is Bollywood and is waiting for the release of his next upcoming movie Mission Mangal. On the otherside, Baahubali star Prabhas is planning to wrap up the shoot of his upcoming action entertainer Saaho, which is slated to hit the theaters on 15th August 2019 on the occasion of Independence day. Earlier it was heard that Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal is also slated to hit the theaters on 15th August. But now Akshay Kumar has extended his support to Prabhas and has decided to pre-pone the release of Mission Mangal.
If the latest reports are anything to go by, Akshay Kumar and the makers have decided to avert the clash and advanced Mission Mangal’ release by a week.
Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu and Vidya Balan starrer Mission Mangal will now hit screens on 9th August, leaving the ground open for Prabhas to take North India by storm. Touted to be a space drama,bankrolled by Balki and helmed by Jagan Shakti, the movie also stars Kriti Kulhari. Mission Mangal is said to be about the scientists who were involved in India’s first Mars Orbiter Mission.
Saaho which has Shraddha Kapoor in female lead role, is directed by Sujeeth and is bankrolled by UV Creations.
