SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR– Rise Roar Revolt marks Alia Bhatt’ debut in Telugu cinema’. She is playing the role of Sita, the love interest of the freedom warrior Alluri Sita Ramaraj. Ram Charan is playing Alluri Sita Ramaraj in this big budget movie. According to reports, the crew had a short schedule in Mahabaleshwar, and now the scenes which need Alia Bhatt will be shot in Hyderabad. Today on the occasion of Alia Bhatt’ birthday, the makers of RRR released her first look from RRR.
The movie RRR, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya, also stars Mega Power Star Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Young Tiger Jr NTR. Along with them, other actors from overseas including Alison Doody, Olivia Morris, and Ray Stevenson have also been roped in. RRR is slated for a theatrical release for 13th October, 2021.
Rajamouli’ RRR is based on the lives of two freedom fighters in the early 20th century —Kumram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju and the roles are played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan respectively.
Often at the centre of the nepotism debate, Mahesh Bhatt’ daughter Alia Bhatt has also delivered several critically acclaimed performances in her nine years long career in the film industry.
