Petitions on the government from the citizens and opposition party people are quite common but this is the case in which former BSF jawan has challenged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his election from Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, reportedly.
On digging into the details, Tej Bahadur Yadav is the former Border Security Force constable and he was dismissed from the service for posting a video on watery dal and burnt rotis served to soldiers that gained huge fame on social platforms and comments questioning the PM. Later Yadav was fielded as a candidate by the Samajwadi Party as the opposition to Modi in Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency.
But sadly the Election Commission rejected his nomination citing he has no right for nomination as he was dismissed from the duty.
Upon the Tej Bahadur’s petition, on Friday, the Allahabad High Court has sent the notice to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now, it has to wait and see how people’s person Modi responds to the petition of ex-army person.
