Mega Producer Allu Aravind has made official announcement regarding his upcoming production venture Ramayan which will be made on the lavish budget of Rs 500 Cr. The first part of Rs 500 crore ambitious trilogy of the epic Ramayan hits screens in a couple of years. Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udayawar, who had helmed Sridevi’s last film, Mom, are on the board to helm Ramayan.

Recently, there were reports in media circle that Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone were roped in to play Lord Sri Ram and Sits respectively in Allu Aravind’ Ramayan. The reports went viral and the movie overs have been eagerly waiting for the official announcement since then. But finally Allu Aravind has disappointed the excited fans by saying that Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are not the part of Ramayan.

However, Nitesh Tiwari and Allu Aravind have clarified the ongoing speculations, and disappointed all the excited fans. Nitesh Tiwari said that he is still working on the script and no any actor has been approached to play the lead role in Ramayan.

Ramayan is expected to go on the floor in next year. Ramayan will be jointly bankrolled by Allu Aravind, Bollywood producers Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra. It will be made using the latest 3D technology, and will be released in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.
