Stylish Star Allu Arjun is busy in the success celebration of his recently released movie Ala Vaikunthapuramloo, which was released yesterday and received a positive response. A few days ago, as a part of promotional activities, Allu Arjun interacted with media and spoke about Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety.
Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Allu Arjun will act in Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety, in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. But later finally, they decided to work on the script of Ala Vaikunthapuramloo.
When Allu Arjun was asked whether he was approached to play the lead role in the remake of the Hindi film, to which he replied, “yes.” Allu Arjun added, “We wanted to remake the film Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety under Geetha Arts and people assumed that I would star in it. But that isn’t true. Trivikram and I discussed it, but later we decided to go ahead with our own story.”
Allu Arjun is one of the actor who never acted in a remake project until now. His all movies have fresh stories and concepts.
Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo have opened to an earth-shattering response at the worldwide box office on the first day. The movie has made a better collection than Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru in many regions across the globe. As per early estimates, Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has collected nearly Rs 55 crore gross at the worldwide box office on its opening day.
