Stylish Star Allu Arjun is currently working with Sukumar for the upcoming film Pushpa, which is being helmed by Sukumar of Ragasthalam fame. In this film, Bunny plays a lorry driver and Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife Pushpa. It is believed that the upcoming action-drama will follow a tragedy that befalls upon Pushpa and is set against Seshachalam forest backdrop and revolves around sandalwood smuggling. As Pushpa is a pan Indian film, Allu Arjun has hiked his remuneration for the project.
Allu Arjun was reportedly paid Rs 25 Cr as remuneration for his previous movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and his production house Geetha Arts shared 40 percent from the profits. For Pushpa, Allu Arjun will be receiving Rs 35 Cr as a remuneration. His uncles would be co-producing the film and they would also share some of the profits for the film Pushpa.
The regular shoot of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa, which is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, is expected to commence from the last week of August or September month. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music in this much-hyped movie Pushpa.
Apart from Pushpa, Allu Arjun will also be seen in Icon, which is directed by Sriram Venu and bankrolled by Raju.
