So he spent almost 1 year thinking of what to do. That is the time where Geetha Arts 2 bought the remake rights of light hearted romantic entertainer Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and asked Bunny to act in it. Initially Allu Arjun has shown some interest though he is against doing a remake.
He proposed Trivikram Srinivas to direct this remake. Trivikram who is also against remakes has taken his time and came up with Ala Vaikunthapuramulo subject. That’s how Ala Vaikunthapuramulo started and we all know what happened since. Ala Vaikunthapuramulo has emerged as Non Baahubali Industry Hit and is still going with decent run. The film in its weekends is holding 61 percent of occupancy.
After the success of Ala Vaikunthapuramulo, Allu Arjun has Sukumar project in hands and next he will act in Icon in the direction of Venu Sriram. Looks like the star is not interested in the remake anymore. Now Geetha Arts 2 is trying for young heroes to do the remake. Will anyone say yes to this Bollywood hit movie?
