Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna Starrer Pushpa: The Rule is one of the most awaited movies from Tollywood. The humongous success of the rural drama Pushpa: The Rise as a PanIndia success has raised the expectation of fans who are much eagerly looking forward to the sequel. Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist in Pushpa‘s climax cliffhanger just added to the hype. The upcoming drama Pushpa 2 is being mounted at a large scale budget as the lead protagonist Allu Arjun himself has demanded a whopping Rs 175 cr along with share in the profits. Director Sukumar who settled for Rs 18 Crore for Pushpa: The Rise is now charging Rs 75 cr for Pushpa: The Rule as per the report.
The reports are also coming out that Allu Arjun and Sukumar have signed a contract where they will get 40 per cent of the film’s profits if Pushpa: The Rule is a blockbuster. The pre-production work of Pushpa 2 is in progress. The film’ budget seems to be at par with Prabhas’s Saaho and Baahubali films.
The source say that the producers of Mythri Movie Makers have been directed to not disclose the non-theatrical deals of this action drama. It seems the producer and distributor Allu Arvind will finalize the OTT deals before its release.
