On the occasion of birth anniversary of legendary comedian Padmashri Allu Ramalingaiah, his grandsons – Allu Arjun,  Allu Sirish and  Allu Venkatesh  inaugurated the bronze statue at Allu Studios today morning.  1st October marks Ramalingaiah’s 100th birth anniversary.

On this occasion,  they remembered their grandfather and his contribution to the film industry.  Allu Arjun also took to his microblogging page and shared a few pics with his brothers and his grandfather Ramalingaiah’s statue.

On this occasion, the entire Allu family came together to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of their grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah.

Allu Ramalingaiah  started his film career with Puttillu  which was released in 1953 and his last movie was Jai which was release before his death. The actor was awarded the Padma Shri in the year  1990 by the Government of India, and  he received the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2001. He is best known for acting in Mayabazar, Missamma, Muthyala Muggu, Sankarabharanam and other popular movies of the 80s, where he played a soft and unhated villain.

On the other hand, Allu Ramalingaiah’s son-in-law Megastar Chiranjeevi, Surekha  and  Allu Aravind will inaugurate  Allu Ramalingaiah’s bronze statue at the Allu Ramalingaiah Govt Homoeopathy College in Rajahmundry today.

On the work front, Allu Arjun is currently working with Sukumar for Pushpa co starring Rashmika Mandanna.
