Icon Star Allu Arjun‘s pan-Indian outing Pushpa finally had a clean sweep at the recently held prestigious South Filmfare Awards ceremony 2022. Helmed by the successful director Sukumar, the film has bagged multiple awards in the categories like the Best Actor, Best Director, Best Music Director, Best Cinematography, Best Male Singer, Best Female Singer and the Best Film.
Feeling happy, the lead actor has expressed his gratitude to the people for pushing the film into success path. He took to Twitter and thanked everyone by tweeting, “PUSHPA CLEAN SWEEP AT filmfare. BEST ACTOR, BEST DIR, BEST MUSIC DIR, BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY, BEST MALE SINGER, BEST FEMALE SINGER & BEST FILM. THANK YOU ALL. HUMBLED.”
Released in December 2021, Pushpa: The Rise created many records in the history of Indian cinema and remained as the best pan-India project of the year. The entire team is feeling proud of the director for framing the film in a phenomenal structure and bringing it such a huge fame in the Telugu Film Industry.
Now, all eyes are on the upcoming second instalment of the film, titled Pushpa: The Rule, in which Rashmika Mandanna is playing the wife of Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, sunil, Anasuya and others will appear in key roles. The film is currently under its shoot at recently erected Allu Studios in Hyderabad.
