Allu Sirish is coming up to entertain his fans with an upcoming movie ABCD (American Born Confused Desi), the remake of Malayalam film by the same title. Today the makers have released the trailer of the film.
The Telugu version, from the trailer, seems to be a faithful remake of the Malayalam in which Dulquer Salmaan played the lead role. Allu Sirish is playing the role of Avi. To mend his ways, Avi’s father (Naga Babu) through deceit sends him to India to pursue the education. In India, Avi starts living with his friend (Bharat) realise that it had been a trap and he has to live a hard life as students in India.
The teaser of ABCD remake has also given a glimpse of Rukshar Dhillion who is playing the female lead in the movie. The Telugu version of ABCD is directed by Sanjiv Reddy who will be making his debut as a director in Tollywood. The movie, which is produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Yash Rangineni, is all set to hit the theaters on 17th May. Apart from the leas pair, Allu Sirish and Rukshar Dhillion, ABCD remake has other stars like Naga Babu, Master Bharath, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Subhaleka Sudhakar and Raja.
Earlier, Allu Sirish made announced the release date of his upcoming movie on his Twitter as he tweeted, “Please mark the date on your calendar. ABCD – American Born Confused Desi arrives on the 17th May 2019. See you soon at cinemas.”
The Malayalam version of ABCD is helmed by Martin Prakkat, and the movie starring Dulquer Salmaan, Jacob Gregory, Aparna Gopinath, Sijoy Varghese, Sajini Sachariah, Krishnabhaskar Mangalasserri , Tovino Thomas, Vijayaraghavan, Lalu Alex, S.P.Sreekumar, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Kalpana, Nandhu, Kalasala Babu, and others in supporting roles.
