It is known the news that Telugu actor Sharwanand is collaborating with producer SR Prabhu for a big-budget Tamil – Telugu bilingual, which will be produced under his Dream Warrior Pictures banner. Helmed by well-known short filmmaker Shree Karthik, the project was officially launched with a formal pooja ceremony in the month of August. Currently, the shoot of this film is going on at the brisk pace. Pelli Choopulu fame actress Ritu Varma is on the board to romance with Ranarangam star Sharwanand in this upcoming untitled film. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the veteran Telugu actress Amala Akkineni has been roped into Sharwanand starrer to essay a pivotal role.

Very soon the official announcement regarding the inclusion of Amala Akkineni in this film of Sharwanand and Ritu Varma starrer will be made. Earlier she has played a cameo in Akkineni’s family drama Manam. Now, 52-year-old actress, Amala Akkineni is making her comeback in Tollywood after a long gap with Sharwanand’s film.

Apart from the lead pair and Amala Akkineni, the film also has an ensemble star cast like Nasser, Priyadarshi and Vennela Kishore in the supporting roles. Taxiwaala fame Jakes Bejoy is rendering the music, Sujith Sarang and Srijith Sarang are handling the cinematography and editing respectively.

The short-film director Shree Karthik is known for his award-winning short movies like Vyugam and Childhood Diaries is making his feature film debut with this upcoming project starring Sharwanand and Ritu Varma.

On the other side, recently Amala Akkineni ventured into the digital space by web-series titled High Priestess where she is playing the lead role, which is helmed by Pushpa Ignatius. There is a story based on a transgender person killed in a road accident. There is a middle-aged woman who pays the ultimate price for everlasting beauty. There is also the story of a lustful gynecologist whose s*xual abuse leads to a patient’s death.
