On Wednesday, Amazon Prime Video shared a tweet where they announced the date for Pushpa: The Rise starring Icon Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. The movie Pushpa: The Rise, which is helmed by Sukumar, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 7th January.
Even before the theatrical run of Allu Arjun starrer is nearing its completion the film will be out on Amazon on the 7th of this month. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Amazon Prime Video has paid the makers a whopping Rs 22 crores to bag the digital rights of Pushpa: The Rise. This is a huge amount and it proves the craze of Allu Arjun.
The Telugu action thriller Pushpa: the Rise, which is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, had it’s theatrical release on 17th December, 2021 which became a blockbuster at box office. The movie was also released in dubbed versions including Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
Pushpa: the Rise marked the third collaboration between Allu Arjun and director Sukumar. On its opening day, the movie received the mixed reviews from the critics. However, Allu Arjun’s performance earned much praise, and strong positive word of mouth attracted the footfalls in high numbers to the theaters, making it the top grosser at the Indian box office for 2021.
