Amazon Prime has surprised everyone when it announced that Vijay‘s recent movie Master is going to be premiered tomorrow. Master’s theatrical release happened on January 13th and now within 16 days, the movie is coming for digital release.
While this is good news for the fans, it is learned that Amazon has shelled out huge bucks for the producers for this to happen.
Actually, the deal was set for the digital release for 20.5 Crore rupees. But Amazon wanted to prepone it and for this, he had shelled out another 15 Crores extra. In total, Master digital rights benefited the makers of the movie, Rs. 36 Crores.
Lokesh Kangaraj has directed the movie. Malvika Mohnanan is the female lead of the project. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for the flick. Master has been a super hit at the box-office.
