Anand Devarakonda, the brother of Vijay Devarakonda is coming up with the most anticipated psychological thriller, titled, “Highway’. The creators of the film have announced that it will skip its theatrical release and will directly arrive on OTT platform Aha. They also said that the platform will stream the film from the 19th of this month.
It is directed by KV Guhan. He said, “There was an incredible change in the film industry, post the first wave of Covid. At the same time, we were all connected to world content, regardless of languages. There was a huge opening for concept films, new experiments and unique thoughts. That’s when I narrated this idea to Anand and Abhishek, and being explorers themselves, they said yes. Every twist and turn in this film will be new. The more you get into the story, the more it brings out the different shades of characters.”
Highway is backed by Venkat Talari. It stars Sayami Kher, Manasa and Abhishek Benerjee in important roles. The film is all about a photographer Vishnu, played by Anand Devarakonda. He falls in love with Tulasi, played by Manasa. When all things stand right, a serial killer kidnaps his lover. The rest of the story shows what happens afterwards.
